Oh, those Sheets!

An Ode to Our Luxury Sheets!
By Greg and Libby Johnson who bought Stonewall Jackson Inn's Sheets

Some say life's a spiritual quest
An earthly toil, a heavenly rest
Meanwhile we sleep in earthly suites
Searching for the perfect sheets

Martha Stewart and J. C. Penney
Are only two of the countless many
Who've sold us linens promising blisses
And tucked us in with threadbare kisses

Our patience and our sheets were thin
Until a fateful night at a Harrisonburg inn
In a bedroom fit for a prima donna
 We discovered 600-count Nirvana

At breakfast we pursued the mystery
And now our restless nights are history
We¹re contentedly awaiting our eternal fate
Enjoying heaven at a discount rate

Travel Tip

Travel stress, coupled with fewer opportunities for showers, may result in more underarm odor.  Rather than load up on deodorant, rub on a dab or two of alcohol-based hand sanitizer such as Purell. It kills all odor causing bacteria, allows normal sweating and can last for 24 hours or more.
It also effective on sweaty feet!

Did you know?

Sound does not travel at the speed of sound!

There is no such thing as the speed of sound. Sound travels at different speeds depending on the temperature and the medium it is passing through. The denser and more compressed the medium is, the faster sound travels. Under standard atmospheric conditions, sound travels at 742 miles per hour at sea level when the temperature is 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Sound travels faster at higher altitudes and at higher temperatures. Sound travels about four times faster through water than through air and about fifteen times faster through steel.

And now you know!
