If you only have one night in Harrisonburg, Clementine is the one you’ll want to try. With live bands playing weekly, a great selection of art, and an eclectic-yet-sophisticated ambiance, the true taste of the ‘Burg is just inside their doors. What not to miss: Besides their house-made potato chips (delish), the crab cake served with asparagus never fails to satisfy. Really, this is a joint where you just can’t go wrong.

Craving some smoky, Southern flavor? Hank’s, with its modern-yet-rustic interior, is just the ticket. What not to miss: Their famous hickory-smoked baby back ribs – they fall right off the bone. Get them with their famous Whiskey Barbecue sauce – and definitely don’t forget the better-than-usual sweet potato fries. Daily specials include:

Thursday: Hank’s Famous Prime Rib (4pm until it’s gone)

Here, down-south cuisine is served up in a colorful atmosphere. But if you’ve already pigged out on all treats southern during your stay, your answer to the what-to-eat quandry lies here: their served-all-day breakfast. What not to miss: If house-made buttermilk griddle pancakes aren’t enough to tempt you, order up a plate of southern fried chicken – it’s marinated in sweet tea, hand breaded, gently fried, then topped with your choice of house-made bacon sage gravy or mushroom gravy. And nachos, of course, to get things started.
